In order to find his own position, Clive devoted himself to the practice of swordsmanship. His practice finally paid off. At the age of fifteen, he won the Duke Tournament in one fell swoop, and was awarded the title of the First Shield of Rosalia. He took on the responsibility of guarding the phoenix and was fortunate enough to control a part of the phoenix's flame. Unfortunately, the mysterious Dark Summoner Ifrit turns Clive's bright prospects into tragedy, forcing him to embark on a dangerous path of revenge.
